Poecilognathus relativitae : ウィキペディア英語版 | Poecilognathus relativitae
''Poecilognathus relativitae'', originally known as ''Phthiria relativitae'', is a fly of the family Bombyliidae, subfamily Poecilognathus, that is found in the American Southwest. It was discovered by Neal Evenhuis, who named it as a pun on "theory of relativity". Subsequent analysis revealed that the insect is not of the genus ''Phthiria'', and it was renamed.〔(Stupid Science Word of the Month ) at ''Discover''; August 2007 issue; published online July 26, 2007; retrieved July 22, 2013〕 ==References==
